They insist that contact between dog and owner is healthy for both. Now I love my fox terrier but I feel like we are both just too up tight to really be lowering one another’s blood pressure.
That is what they insist though…If I give him a good pat both our blood pressures go down. I find he just gets goofy with love and I worry he might bonk me in the face again… He isn’t the gentlest kisser, with that long nose he tends to bash me in the eye… Anyhow, I worry about him getting enough out of our relationship and wonder if other dog owners with easily stressed pets think about this too??
Noon the sun invades our sitting room, life slows down, everyone finds their sunbeam and something sweet happens in the cozy calm…
But when moments like this happen I think we are gonna be okay… We being my dog and his crazy family.
