It was well past his bedtime, so late Mom was ready to crawl into her own bed for the night. Unlike the stubborn little guy pouting in the hall Mom was more then ready for this time of the day. All the main floor lights were shut down and she was determined to get that frustrating littlest man into bed then find her own before she fell asleep on her feet. She walked up stairs intentionally stomping to give him a serious hint about how serious she was about him returning to his bed. Continue reading →

The Grumpy Family and Loving Us All Through It!
Who knew being excited and happy could be so exhausting?! After living here for a little over three months I realise we have a lot more adjusting to go through and although we are so thrilled to have moved we are also strained by it. Continue reading →
Bugs and Buddies
I am not the only gardener in the family. My husband and I planted a delightful little violet willow tree together, my 4 year old has been a very busy helper as I put in the seeds for all out vegetables and we have all been excited about the little plants we placed at the front yard, which should eventually provide us with a nice hedge. As a little pat on the back I even picked up a few pretty little garden decorations. It felt so official, I am a gardener, as I picked out GARDEN DECORATIONS.

Catching Snow Flakes In Your Own Back Yard
All we wanted to do was get to the hill for some sliding. What we really wanted was to skate, but that takes a lot more planning and we were running out of time on one of the few warm days this January. Dad held us up at the last and we ended up sitting in a toboggan, in the yard, trying to catch the fantastically fluffy snow flakes on our tongues.
Perfectly Ordinary… Thus Perfect :)
It was hot, too hot, and after getting my eight loaves of home made bread to the point of rising in the pans I wasn’t liking the idea of heating up the stove to cook supper. My man ran out for pizza, the five bucks hot and ready kind, and those of us who waved to him in joyous farewell where bursting with grins on the front step.
Antisocial and Profamily
Camping… That has been our goal this summer, to go camping with the children. With success in this area has come, also, antisocial tendencies. We have hunkered down to fun in the sun as a little family unit. No kids running here and there to events of every kind this summer, just my man and I, our two girls, two boys and the dog. The kids said their favourite part of last summer was camping and we heard them!
